The Shropshire Barn Owl Group is a lead partner in the Shropshire Biodiversity Action Plan (SBAP) for the barn owl in Shropshire which aims to achieve 160 breeding pairs of barn owl by 2010. We intitially drew up a local biodiversity action plan for Telford & Wrekin Council and this has now been superseded by a Shropshire County Council plan covering the whole of Shropshire.
